Digiwave Files Digiwave files are those which are used to store the obtained digital waves from any one of the form say satellites. File is generally defined as a resource for storing information. For example the computer files are stored too some type of data storage devices. Similarly in digiwave files the obtained digital waves are stored in form of data. The digital waves from satellites are received by a FTA receiver. Need for this type of technique:
All these defects paved wave for satellite communication and they won’t be complete without these FTA receiver and digiwaves. Digiwave files will contain information obtained from free to air (FTA) technology informations. In this technology they transmit satellite signals which people may receive through this equipment. For a FTA broadcasts, we will need a satellite dish. The band may be either C or something known as Ku band. Also we will be likely to have a satellite receiver which may either be a PC card too. One more main component which is needed is a rotor or an antenna which has a motor which are useful to receive information from more than one satellite. The satellite transmission free to air, otherwise known as FTA or MPEG-2 transmissions, was introduced to the masses of the world several years ago on the Asian continent and quickly spread to the United States with the sales of the first FTA Satellite receivers. Now it’s available almost in all the countries round the earth. The digiwave files provided better performance than analog. In earlier days, we were using analog signals. But one main disadvantage is that it was very slow and also the clarity was not up to the mark. Hence now days, people started using digital signals which the digiwave files receive.
