Coolsat 7100

Coolsat 7100 is a free to air satellite receiver. There is a free to air satellite community which proved help and support to various free to air satellite systems. Coolsat 7100 is the upgraded version of coolsat 7000. The feature introduced in coolsat 7000 is that it has 1 GB internal memory using which we can store video up to 40 minutes and we can store lot of data when we plug in a USB device to the USB drive which is also an additional feature. Like coolsat 7000, coolsat 7100 also supports USB device. It has an front and back USB drive thus enabling more than 1 USB device to be plugged in. Coolsat 7100 in other words is called Time Machine because it records the live TV programs and allows viewing it later.

Coolsat 7100 also allows pausing live TV with an external USB drive. Various features have been added in coolsat 7100. Additional USB drive, ability to pause TV programs and the product comes with DivX compatible playback. DivX is one type of file format which gives digital quality to video as well as audio. It is a newly developed format. Coolsat 7100 allows to playback this type of format. Feature of coolsat 7100 are as follows, It provides DivX capable player, front and back USB ports, allows a maximum of 500 GB USB hard disk drive, support 9 days EPG, allows to select favorite channel groups, blind scan, parental lock, receiver lock, Unlike others coolsat 7100 allows 5000 channel programmable only, On-screen display with 16 bit color resolution, S-VHS video output, optical and coaxial  output for digital audio, USB 2.0 which allows MP3 and JPEG viewer etc. software and channel database can be upgraded via RS-232 , front panel, smart card slot or USB slot. Coolsat 7100 is easy to use and comes with more power plus speed when compared with other coolsat receivers. Coolsat 7100 also has smart card reader. Transfer rate in coolsat 7100 is 115 Kbps. Coolsat 7100 has 2MB Flash ROM, 32 MB SDRAM. Coolsat 7100 allows to pause, record and playback the live video. It’s all because of its 1GB internal memory. We can store more data if we add external USB hard disk drive. Coolsat 7100 is not a normal product; it is a luxury option to those who want to record and playback videos.
